Hi Jeremiah – Agree with your observation. This is a problem with the example (not with the spec or the tooling). I’ll update the example to the file type “SOURCE” to better match the name of the file.

On my Linux system the program file says: "foo.c: C source, ASCII text" The command 'file' output is superior to the information in the spreadsheet for license compliance purposes.
