Now that the SPDX 2.1 spec [1] is pretty much wrapped up, and we're waiting to
get the new website up, so both can be announced, it seems that doing
implementations and figuring out how to use SPDX 2.1 with real world examples,
is the priority.
Starting August 30, the tech team call on Tuesday will become "office hours"
with our experts (aka the regular bunch).
Please feel free to join us and ask your questions on:- How to interpret the
new fields in SPDX 2.1 specification- How to implement the new fields in your
tools, what's important to focus on- How to use SPDX to represent specific
real world examples you're wrestling with.- and any other general SPDX question
you have....
Input from these sessions will be turned into FAQ's and published on the
Website going forward (as well as finding issues to be implemented in 2.2).
Questions are, of course, always welcome to be posted on this list too, if you
can't make the office hours time. :-)
Due to LinuxCon next week, we won't be having a tech call on August 23rd, so
see you on August 30th for the first SPDX tech office hours.
