All,

Thanks to our GSoC student we have a solid way of converting the MD for the
specification, offline for now, into HTML and PDF. To support the HTML and PDF
versions we are proposing a few change to the spec git.

1. We will add a tools directory to the top level. This will hold scripts
and templates etc..,. that are needed to do the conversions. The actual open
source tools (e.g. pandoc, etc) we use will not be stored.

2. We will add a specifications directory to the top level. Below that we
will have the various versions of the final specification in HTML and PDF. As
an example:

     specifications \

                 version_2_1_1\

                 version_2_1_2 \

There will still be a link to the current draft specification, thank you
Thomas, as well. This is rendered online dynamically.

We discussed having language directories under the version directories but are
unsure. If anyone has experience with multi-lingual web sites we would love to
get some input from you on layouts etc.,.

Thanks,

Jack
