For the 2.2 release of the SPDX spec, we are planning to support XML as one of the formats. James Neushul has done some great contributions early on proposing a schema that was based on the RDF XML format and included several proposed security extensions. Since then, we have moved the XML format to be more inline with the JSON and YAML formats and some of the security features were moved to SPDX 3.0 resulting in a significantly different XML format. I would like to request anyone with interest and expertise in the SPDX XML format to review the example XML document <https://github.com/spdx/spdx-spec/blob/development/v2.2/examples/SPDXXMLExa mple-v2.0.spdx.xml> . There is also an issue tracking this review request: https://github.com/spdx/spdx-spec/issues/217 The 2.2 release is coming up rather quickly, so a review in the next week or two would be very helpful.
