Thanks, Sean, that’s very useful.
I’ve started copying and converting it to, e.g.
https://github.com/spdx/spec-v3-template/blob/main/model/Core/Element.md
so that it follows our previous decisions: simplified input format, file per
class, etc.
I have two major questions:
1. Should we differentiate between datatype properties and object
properties, e.g. by placing them in different sections/files?
* For people not well versed in ontologies, “fields” and “relations” are
considered very different.
2. Which part of the “shape” is part of the model and which is part of the
profile?
* Especially in the Core Namespace this is not clear, since we assume
that restrictions in Core will always be valid.
Looking forward to discussing in the call,

Subject: [spdx-tech] Core namespace template
All,
In hopes of moving us forward rapidly, I used the previously proposed markdown
template structure to capture what I believe is our latest model consensus for
the core namespace of the model.
It is currently lacking summaries and descriptions for all the properties as we
have not really discussed that in detail yet and I simply did not have time to
take a stab at all 32 properties.
The vocabularies in the core namespace similarly need summaries and
descriptions.
I am attaching it for your review.
Maybe we can discuss it on our call and hopefully it will give us something
concrete to work forward from.
Sean
