I'd like to give you a brief update on the data we provide around the
{metæffekt} Universe (https://github.com/org-metaeffekt/metaeffekt-universe).
We recently added the translations of the EUPL 1.2 as we realized that no
license scanner (at least we know of) can detect and handle the licenses
consistently. The European Union supports 23 translations of the EUPL also
using the different languages and charsets. You can find the licenses on
https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/collection/eupl/eupl-text-eupl-12. The English
version of the EUPL-1.2 is both SPDX and OSI listed.
We argue that "digital sovereignty in the Europe Union (and of course beyond)
means also being able to detect the EUPL 1.2 consistently!"

As of today, the published version of the {metæffekt} Universe counts 1905
licenses, terms, permission, notices and references with specific metadata. As
such we just applied for an SPDX namespace. We are looking forward to making
this happen. See https://tools.spdx.org/app/license_namespace_requests/.
As always, we are looking for feedback on the provided information and details.
We are also happy to extend the {metæffekt} Universe in the one or the other
direction if it is of interest (e.g., publishing more attributes, lifecycle
data, the reference license texts, the scanner and further tools).
