Hi all, We have a proposal for this summer's GSoC that is planning to use the Python SPDX libraries to implement an SBOM Conformance Checker, as described in https://wiki.spdx.org/view/GSOC/GSOC_ProjectIdeas#SBOM_Conformance_Checker There are already a couple of volunteers to help mentor the new contributor, but it would be great if someone else also steps up and volunteers to help. The project will essentially use the libraries, read an SBOM and then perform some checks to verify that it conforms to NTIA's minimum elements guidance.
