Hi all, As part of ongoing efforts to update and enhance the Python tools, we would like to start some major refactoring of the library. As a first (and hopefully mild) step, we'd like to refactor the builder constructs used to map deserialized documents to our internal data model. While I would usually consider this internals of the library, there is no 'private' in Python... so if anyone thinks they will be impacted by this, or wants to give their opinion on our ideas, please check out and comment on the corresponding issue: https://github.com/spdx/tools-python/issues/244
I think major refactoring is necessary before moving on (and several people have agreed with this already). But we could try to maintain backwards-compatibility until a major (or minor?) version bump. Thanks, Nico -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
