The way that all these "special interest" groups have been set up is that
people interested in a specific area work together, reach a solution, and then
come to the regular tech team meeting and present this in order to get
integrated. In this way, some work can be done in parallel, and we do not have
to wait months by using a single weekly tech team call.

Rose,

I concur with the suggestion Thomas made during the spdx-tech call on Tuesday
that consensus on serialization is foundational and should be discussed and
settled among the broader community.

Thanks,

Dick Brooks

I would likely not regularly attend, but 6am is much too early for anyone who
wants to participate on the US West Coast or similar TZ. Even if there are no
takers to this email right now, the current time would deter any future
participants in West Coast time zones.

!! External Email
Hi all,

As you may already know, the group of people with interest in the serialization
of SPDXv3 data meets regularly. The current schedule is weekly calls on
Thursdays, 1300-1400 UTC.

Are there people who want to actively contribute in the SPDX Serialization
efforts and are hindered because of the current timeslot?
If yes, please reach out (even to me directly) and we can try to find an
alternative, more convenient arrangement.
