Hi everyone,

I opened an issue regarding custom @context namespace mapping in
JSON-LD serializations for SPDX 3.0.1 documents. According to the
specification, NamespaceMaps may be serialized using native JSON-LD
mechanisms within the @context field.

However, current tooling, in particular the Java tools, require
@context to be exactly the SPDX context URL, which causes validations
to fail if custom contexts are introduced.

I provided a minimal reproducible example and a workaround that
expands custom contexts prior to validation in the issue below:
https://github.com/spdx/tools-java/issues/263

I'm posting here mainly to increase visibility of the provided
workaround until the tooling catches up with support.

Best regards,
Luis
