Hi everyone, I’m Kiet, a Computer Science student at Monash University. I am writing to introduce myself as I am very interested in contributing to the SBOM conformance checker for OpenChain AI SBOM project for Google Summer of Code 2026.
I have a deep background in Go, Python and backend systems. Some of my relevant experiences include: - CBOM Extraction: I recently built a CLI tool as a Research Intern to ingest PCAP/PCAPNG captures and emit structured CBOM (Cryptographic Bill of Materials) records as NDJSON. - Open Source Contributions: I have contributed to go-kit/kit (implementing bidirectional gRPC streaming endpoint) and elazarl/goproxy (designing proxy chaining architecture). I am currently exploring resources for the SPDX Project and I’d love to start contributing and better understand the current architecture. I really hope I can become a part of this community.
