I can see why they might do it that way round. If only there was some sort
of CFTRANSACTION equivalent for the creation of objects eh?
I am aware of the attribute, but I do not think we can write our own create
handlers; not incapable, but in Forta's book it says that you can't.
Using the webtop to create objects, using the default create handler...

There is a time window during which an object is created but the methods
that modify it have not yet been called. You do not want objects that are
in this state to appear anywhere, hence the active flag. (I guess this is
the logic behind it.)
The cfa_contentobjectcreate tag has a bActivate attribute that supposedly
activates the object automatically.
