This gets too weird...
It seems to have something to do with a PAGE item (we don't know
which one yet) at the third level of the menu. I've wrapped the loop
and CFA_SITEELEMENTGETCHILDREN that builds level three down in a CFIF
excluding PAGE elements from the processing and it works. Doesn't
make a lot of sense, but it works, so for the time being (with a
deadline rapidly approaching), we'll leave it functional as opposed
to sensible..
I don't have the code here (home), so I can send it tomorrow if
anyone wants. My opinion is it's clunky and that there MUST be a
better way of doing the same thing. As this dynamic menu concept is
pretty useful, I'd love any suggestions.

Sorry to hear that, some other factor must have skewed things then...
Let's
know when you find out just what!

I'd absolutely _like_ to. However, as it is developed for a certain
project
in mind I'll have to take a look at it when it's done and make sure
it's all
generic.
Good luck on nailing the bug!
