Jeff,
I just found out about the problems with cluster cats in a non-clustered
environment in the last coupleof weeks and don't have a lot of details.
I do know that stopping and starting the Bright Tiger services when our
development machine got VERY close did wonders for speeding things up -- at
least in the short term. At least by doing that, it made it clear what the
problem was.
I don't yet have a good way to disable or remove cluster cats from a machine --
I'm hoping someone on the list has done this already.

How did you go about disabling Cluster Cats? I have a client installation
where the server admin installed Bright Tiger, etc., on a non-clustered
environment. I suspected this as a possible problem. What info do you have
about the impact of this on a normal CF (non-Spectra) application?
