The alltypes index, like all Verity indexes, are not updated automatically.
You have to do it yourself. (Or use the CF Scheduler to update the index,
but even then you have to write a script for the scheduler to call.)

You should use the TypeIndexAllKeyUpdate/Delete tags found in the
DevExchange when you create, edit, or delete objects.
