Not sure what you mean. Are you saying you want the value to default to
now(), ie, when you create the object? I think default values can only be
static (I'll test this!), so you may have to simply set the value when you
create the object. Be aware that if your trying to use a value to stand for
the object creation date, Spectra already does that for you with the
attr_datetimecreated property.
