Emma,
We've used Macromedia Generator in multiple applications with
Spectra. It's really a 3 step process:
1) point your generator datasource to some cold fusion page (done in
Flash), appending the objectid you want to display on the url.
2) create a .cfm page that gets the object or objects you want (ie:
cfa_contentobjectget) and then serve up the page as a text file using
<cfcontent type="text/plain">.
3) Inside this page, output the values of your object like so:
name, value
value1, "foo"
value2, "bar"
value3, "foobar"
I'd do this first using ColdFusion (so you have an understanding of
how CF & Generator play together) and then move to Spectra.

Hi!
Has anyone out there had any experience of content managing (via
Spectra of
course) a Flash site?
Have the white paper about CF and Generator and grabbed the
cfx_generate
tag, but wondered if anyone had amy more resource I can use whilst
prototyping...?
Thanks,
Emma
