They're a bit of a pain. Right now I'm struggling with how to integrate the
userprofiles created through Spectra with our Access marketing database.
We're probably going to have to adopt a "translation" table like you
describe below to make this happen. If the structure of the userprofile type
changes, we'll have to change the translation table as well.
We'd like to enable our secretaries to update address info in the Access
marketing db and have those changes appear in the Spectra userprofiles too.
The only way I can think to do that is to set up a scheduled task that polls
the translation table for an "updated" flag and migrates the changes into
the userprofiles.
