The major obstacles that I have experienced is never loose sight that its
still CFML:-)

Spectra is a tool set that should enhance the way you write your
applications, I would seriously look at NOT using the handlers as this
functionality adds overheads to any site:-)

I have coded using the handlers before, but with a good site design and
direction of what the site is to acheive then adding this functionality is
no big deal. Remember its a tool set and code like you always have, and you
can't go wrong.
