Hi guys,
I am having a problem in Spectra 1.5. For content promotion between DEV
and LIVE versions of our site I have proposed that all new content and
edits to existing content occur in the following manner. A content item
will be created in a change control datasource and all modifications and
reviews are made upon this item while the item in the LIVE datasource
remains untouched. When a change is approved the object in the edit
datasource is moved over to the live one. This theoretically works.
The problem I am having is that our application is set to use datasource
cfasite. The edit handler for generic Content saves all data to the dev
datasource in the code but the data is actually saving to both live and
dev datasources. I have confirmed this via SQL on the objects table.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening as it is baffling me.
