I am also having a lot of problems. I can't seem to get the application
database to upgrade - it keeps timing out. I have reformatted the server and
am restoring it back to 1.01 so that I can try the whole upgrade procedure
again.
It would help if the hotfixes where bundled into a service pack and there
needs to be a way to force the upgrade procedure to upgrade a database that
is only half upgraded. The way it works now the upgrade thinks the database
has already been upgraded so one can not run the upgrade again.
How long should it take to upgrade a 44MB application database on a single
NT server with 512MB RAM? How can I stop the IE browser from timing out
while this upgrade step 4 runs?
In addition the UserDirectory [which is a MS-SQL database] does not appear
to work with the upgraded system. I am not sure if this is because the
upgrade was problematic or if there is some additional procedure I need to
take.
Any help would be appreciated.
