Just steal the code from the webtop. That's what it is there for. (Well,
maybe not "stealing", but certainly you can modify it and use it as you
wish.) The page template thing is just one more content object type, so you
can use it's features anywhere.

In general, remember that the Webtop is a Spectra app. So everything the
Webtop does - you can do - outside of the Webtop, anywhere really.
