Douglas,

I have seen this behaviour before.
>From memory disabling DHCP and assigning a static IP address to the machine
solved the problem.
Strange things happen when a DHCP lease expires.

If that isn't the problem, check in your invoked page that your pagename in
cfa_page and container name in cfa_container are not the same and that your
two containers have different names. Container names must be unique inside
an exclosing cfa_page tag, and the container name cannot be the same as the
pagename.

Subject: My Content Objects are disappearing

Hi,

Does anyone know why my Content Objects keep disappearing from my page.
I add a flash object in one container, and a custom object in another.
Then strange things happen:

1. One of the containers appears twice in the Site Layout Model. I
remove one and they both disappear.
2. The containers seem to clear themselves of content objects when I
perform other unrelated tasks in the webtop.
3. I get a javascript "not defined" error when trying to edit one of the
objects (flash object).

This is my first week of solid Spectra development, so I'm not creating
anything critical. What do you advise. Scrap the site and start again
from scratch? Re-install Spectra 1.5? Download and install all available
hot fixes - I'm about to do that...

Douglas
