Hi. I find the new forums a bit difficult to learn (to put it mildly :) so I will restrict myself to this list for a bit. There is an issue with the solaris 1.5 installation. The default installation directory is /opt. After installation I was rather dismayed to find that everything in /opt was owned by the coldfusion user, and /opt, and all directories underneath it, had become world-writable. I hope I don't need to tell you that this introduces a *major* security hole on multiuser machines. Of course the proper thing to do here is not to install in /opt, but rather in a subfolder of /opt, or some other safe place, and then immediately fix permissions in there afterwards. I would appreciate it if the allaire installation scripts don't mess up system directories next time. -- Michiel Boland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Digital Valley Internet Professionals Plantsoen 17, Wageningen, The Netherlands Phone: +31 317 465555, Fax: +31 317 460276 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
