This thread brings a question to mind: If I want to use the Metadata
categories and keywords as content for meta tags in my pages, is there a
recommended way to go about this?

Is it really an either-or thing? In my mind, I see them as two totally
different features. Metadata helps describe an object. An embedded object
just adds complexity to a type. To me, it's apples and cylons.

I don't think so. It's Verity based, so you will have the speed of Verity
behind it.

Well, the default hierarchy editor/metadata picker will be a bit slow on
this. I'd simply recommend rolling your own editor/picker.
