We won't be doing that since we would have to be anal and require people to
enter their license #s everytime they download something. As it stands, I
want to make the 'update all' process as easy as possible. I even
considered, and this is WAY not for sure, a script that could handle the
downloads and do the copying for you. Since we know where SpectraRoot is and
we know where WebRoot is, it may be possible. That could mean that upgrading
would go even faster. I don't want to promise that, but I'd love to see
something that would save you from having to do the physical file copies.

In addition to zipped patches, I would also suggest making the source
code available with CVS or VSS. I don't install patches with winzip,
I just check out my mods project. :) Having a source code repository
available makes things like checking whether patches are applied much
easier too.
