Thank you for responding to the recent Spectra evolution news. I wanted to
touch base with you concerning supporting the product. Macromedia will
continue to provide world-class customer service and Spectra support for the
next two years. There will be a team of individuals maintaining, servicing,
and supporting Spectra for you. Your partnership with Allaire is extremely
important to us and we want to reassure you that we will be here for your
team on the existing product.
Macromedia will provide a maintenance release, Spectra 1.5.1, this summer.
As an existing, registered client you can also begin to participate in the
beta of 1.5.1 over the next few weeks.
Macromedia will continue to provide Spectra Consulting and Training Services
for customers who require assistance. To view the full listing of Spectra

We are also working on a Community Source licensing model, which will enable
the community of Spectra customers and partners to contribute bug fixes and
code modifications to the Spectra code base on an ongoing basis.

In summary I would like to assure you that we take our support service
