Myself I did all that - created a new smpolicy db, set up siteminder to work with it,
verified connection, reimported users, synchronized the password.
With Win2Ksp1 workstation, SQL7.0, I got the following siteminder error message. Even
though I could verify the connection to the UDs through the ODBC interface, for some
reason SM didn't want to send along username and password.
My Siteminder experience being quite limited, I guess I must have been missing
something quite obvious ... soI found myself having to reinstall 4.5.1sp2 to get back
to work.

I guess it's more of a CF5RC thing than a Spectra one, but my primary reason for
trying the CFAS5RC was to see if I could get current Spectra apps to work and then to
get a feeling for the performance improvements. I've also incurred some massive memory
leaks in CF4.5.1sp2 parsing a set of biggie biggie text files (45 MB each, total set
of 150 MB), so there was that too ... and the sweet promise of CF scripting
functions. :)
