Hi Everyone, A lot of you on here will find this interesting. I can't (well, I can, profits etc...) understand at all the decision Macromedia made, considering I was on a Spectra course last week and everyone there had clients lined up ready for Spectra work to be done. Surely this is a sign that people started believing in Spectra now that people have had a chance to check out v1.5. Surely now all these potential clients will go to someone else?? What a crazy move!! Anyway, here's the email you guys (esp from the UK) may find interesting... No offence meant to anyone, but if there was a strictly Partners-only list for Spectra then I think we could have a very interesting discussion! A few of the UK partners such as Red Banner are getting together to work out a joint position about Spectra with which to go back to Macromedia. The announcements so far have been very harmful to us and our customers and we intend to help them understand the nature of their responsibility to the Allaire community. Anyone want to join in? You need to have implemented Spectra in the UK.
