The only hotfix for the metadataindexall tag or for index locking says that
it is for solaris, so I didn't install it. Is there anywhere else I should
be looking for hotfixes besides here?:

Looks like you did not install all of the 1.0.1 hotfixes. You need to
install the 'index locking' fix. It is a coincidence that line 113 of both
the original and the fixed version contain a CFINDEX statement.
