Darren, 

Yes this seems to be a limitation when using webtop components.

You will have to give access to these source files by either
1. copying the files into your project code (uggh)
2. setting up an allaire/spectra/webtop virtual directory (also not good)

Pity, although I cannot see a way around it if you do intend on using webtop
components in your app (which some people suggest against for security
reasons)
