The 'Managing Web Content w/Allaire Spectra' book ships with Spectra. If
you do not have it, you can download it from:
http://allaire.com/developer/documentation/AllaireSpectra.cfm. The
description of creating a hierarchy in the Webtop is in that book.
It sounds like the 'Ecommerce Construction Kit' was written for Spectra 1.0.
For information on the 'Type Heirarchy Manager' and a 'Keyword Manager', see
the 'Managing Web Content w/Allaire Spectra' book.

Hi:
I'm left wondering why the references manuals that shipped with
Spectra1.5 allude to things that I can't seem to find.
For instance 'Programming w/Allaire Spectra', chapter 18 (using site
categories) pg 232 alludes to the book 'Managing Web Content w/Allaire
Spectra'. Does it
exist, and if so, why didn't it ship w/the product.
Worse, in the same chapter, page 234, the book states that a
hierarchy can be created programmatically OR,
through the webtop. It then describes the 'programmatically' part, but
skips the webtop part altogether.
After being talked into getting the 'Ecommerce Construction Kit' I
checked out its section on MetaData,
chapter 11, page 274. On pg 275 there is reference to
a 'Type Heirarchy Manager' and a 'Keyword Manager' that can
be accessed from 'several places on the webtop'; the Business Center, the
Site Design area, and the System Design area.
Have I gone senile and myopic, cuz I cant seem to find any of those places.
I just want to know if i should give up looking for:
a) the book on MM's site cuz it doesn't exist
b) Metadata Interfaces on the Webtop cuz they dont exist either
TIA
Rion
