Folks, Having noticed the release of the CF-5.0 eval, I decided to try cobbling together a new development server using CF5, Spectra-1.5.1 and Netscape iPlanet-4.12. Alas, I ran into the same worrying things I saw with the release candidates . . . namely some flakiness in the advanced security setup. The first problem arose during the installation of spectra. Verification of advanced security setup failed with: Cfa () CFAuthenticate Tag Error. Invalid User 'uid=000C76560C171B3A8C1780FCCBA2FEB6,o=iworkwell.com' for Security Context 'sc1'. Pressing RETRY was enough to get it to succeed, and the installation completed. That's NOT very comforting. Next, I went to the webtop and tried to login with the admin credentials I had just setup during the install. It rejected my login, with an error about an absent or broken userdirectory. Seconds later, I tried logging in again with the same credentials, and voila, I was in. Is this a known issue? Thanks for any advice/feedback. -Darren ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
