sounds very strange, only 2 things i can think of, 1) if the container is
set to be cached (intellecache or time cached) then designmode will show
content where the site will not out of designmode, 2) you have generated
content cache wrapping the container somewhere on the site, and it's doing
strange stuff...

Hi All:
MY index page has a few containers, I have not changed anything about them
since their creation. If i simply load the page ./index.cfm there is no
content. If i append designmode=true, log into the application, I see
content.
Then, if i logout of the application, or change the URL back to just
./index.cfm, the content stays.
If I delete cookies and restart my client, I'm back to square one.
BTW, what happens when sessionmgmt in true and cfa_pagestate=1/0?
is this affecting my contents visibility?
