I am impressed!!

1. Can you PLEASE tell us how you configured CF Advanced Security and
eDirectory to get as far as you have?
2. How many users in your eDirectory?
3. What version of eDirectory are you using?

Regards,

Dave Crosby.

I am trying to use Novell eDirectory as my userDirectory for authenticating
users. It partially works. I can authenticate,
but I cannot perform administration through Spectra Webtop or through my
custom app because I cannot see any user accounts.
I can see groups but not the users in the groups. Also, custom application
behavior that relies on group membership does not work.
I have been told by Macromedia support people that Novell eDirectory is not
supported in Cold Fusion version 4.x or 5.

I am using CF 4.51 sp2, Spectra 1.51, Windows 2000 sp1.

My question is this: what in Cold Fusion/Spectra/SiteMinder allows iPlanet
LDAP to work but not Novell eDirectory LDAP?

Thanks, Jeffrey White
