Just fishing for some comments here: has anyone installed the big Spectra
Mod form spectrasource.macromedia.com ?
If so : did it make things better ?
in what way ?
Just installed it and so far all I can see is degraded performance, (slower
responses, timimg out in waiting for locks), but the massive memory
slurpidge seems to have slowed (although I do have loads of tweaking and
load testing to do before we decide).
We run Spectra 1.5.1 on cf 4.5sp2 on solaris.
Also I did a diff on a bunch of files and the main change is to the locking
(named to scoped), is there more to it than this ?
