Hello Pete, I don't use the caching meganism which is used by Spectra. I use <cfa_generatedContentCache> al lot to do my caching. This gives you more flexibility, also because <cfcache> can only cache the whole page generated by cf, with <cfa_generatedContentCcache> you can set caching setting for parts of the page.

Spectra 1.5.1/CF Ent 5.0/Win2K Server Is there a way to set something other than a hard date/time for the cache to expire in the Spectra Site Layout Model? I really want all pages to expire after 2 hours but there just doesn't seemt o be a way to do this. I also tried hardcoding a cfcache tag on each of my templates, but I was getting very bad results with that (pages not expiring properly, inability to delete a single page, etc.). The Spectra documentation is pretty pathetic when it comes to covering any of this, it mentions "intellicache" but further details are hard to find, and are thusly not so terribly intelligent. Thanks for any help you can provide, Pete ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
