Hello Andrew, After taking a deeper look into the search of Spectra I found out it is better to use the allTypeSearch when you search a bunch of types at once. I was first in the understanding that Macromedia adviced to use the typeSearch instead of the allTypeSearch. But, when searching the allTypeSearch the performance of searching is at an acceptable level again.
