Could be that trusted cache is turned on on the server if you are on a
production machine. If trusted cache is turned on, you won't see changes
reflected until after a reboot or a certain time period. Try turning it off
through the CF administrator. Performance will degrade though. So remember
to turn it back on if it's a production machine!

Beste thing to do is rig up a test environment. If you buy Cold Fusion
Studio 4.5, you get a copy of Spectra for personal use. I'm not sure if
that's still on in CF5 studio though.

If this isn't possible, you could make a copy of the objecttype (you get a
new id) into a new directory and work with that.
