I concur, SuperCache has worked well for us so far in our development
environment. We made a ton of customizations though, i.e., strip whitespace
doesn't seem to work, and if you are caching to files as opposed to RAM,
older versions have a bug that doesn't check to see if a file exists first.

I'd recommend not using the built in spectra caching or cfcache. Try
CFSupercache from devex, it is much better. I used to use cfcache and had
connection failure problems constantly until an Allaire person sent me an
unofficial fix to the cfcache tag that wasn't publicly available.

I seem to be getting hunderds of connection falures every day in my cache,
has anyone run across this and if so can you please shed some light on this
for me.
