Ernie, The question becomes were you using siteminder for just authentication or did you authorize. If you only are validating user/pwds and not setting permissions you should be able to recreate your security context 'sc1'. Then add the your userdirectory back into sc1. Then advanced security should be running after you bounce CF/SM.
You should be able to login to Spectra, the webtop and your application.
