Hello All - For those of you going to Dev Con next week, I look forward to meeting you and speaking about Spectra at our Birds of a Feather session. In addition to that meeting, the ColdFusion Product team is conducting a number of customer meetings to discuss possible future enhancements to the product. Each meeting is tied to a specific "theme" and, with a few more slots open in each, I would like to welcome any of you to express interest in participating. You want more control than is possible with an off-the-shelf solution, but you shouldn't have to start from scratch. Database Reporting - Tuesday 5:30 Focus on the presentation layer of business reporting applications - easier ways to build reports in HTML, generating PDFs, Flash printing, data visualization, etc. Data Management - Tuesday 12:30 How many times have you built the same add, edit, browse, and delete records functionality for your applications? There's got to be an easier way! We'll also discuss multi-step multi-process forms (like shopping carts, questionnaires, etc.). Hosting/Administration/Enterprise - Monday 5:30 ColdFusion applications could benefit from more of a sense of 'identity' - more control over their structure, administration, performance, and isolation from other ColdFusion applications running on the same server.
