The introduction of style-sheets really improved things quite a bit for me. I believe there is an option somewhere to chose if the styles are written directly to the HTML code or not... it's something that can be configured on the XML configuration file.Date: Tue, 5 Nov 2002 11:01:09 -0500 From: "Ed McLaughlin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RE: Spectra content cleaner REGEX - help needed Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>Pete, The Ektron Editor is very customizable. You can specify exactly what fonts you want to use or don't want to be available. You can also specify what font you want as the default other than Times. With their latest version, you can specify style sheets fro the editor to use to provide drop down styles (like you'd see with MS Word formats) specific to your content.
Still, I think the Ektron editor needs to improve a few things. I still have problems with some very basic things like applying the styles from the stylesheet when I selected them from the dropdown menu. Selecting a bit of text and chosing one of the styles from the dropdown menu will not always work, and when I look at things in HTML mode I have to start correcting things manually and cleaning up the HTML mess that the WYSIWYG mode did. But it's better that before already.
Cheers
P.
