Hi,

We installed 1.5.2. as recommended (spectra 1.5.1 => 1.5.2 => cf5.0 to
MX).

After upgrading 1.5.2. on CF5.0 all applications worked fine.
Then we updated CF 5.0 EP to MX EP without any errors.

Checking the databases through the CFMX-Administrator shows that all
DB-connections using the SQLOLEDB were deleted.

After redefining the connections as 'Microsoft SQL Server' - connections
we got the following error message while verifiing the UserDirectory:

'Error Executing Database Query.SQLException occurred in JDBCPool while
attempting to connect, please check your username, password, URL, and
other connectivity info.'

Next was to check the SQL-User and ist PW. The password was 24 character
long.
We resetted to a 16 characters password. After this the
UserDirectory-Connection could be verifiied through the
CF-Administrator.

Then we tried to login to the webtop which failed with error 'The
credentials provided could not be authenticated. The cause of this may
be due to a misconfigured or malfuntioning userdirectory. Please
contact....'.

To locate the error we set a cfdump into
C:\SPECTRA\customtags\system\tier0\security\cfa_userget.cfm to view the
transmitted formdata as well as stUD-structure.

stUD always uses the OLD(!!!) 24 character SQL-User-password!

Where is this stored and how do we manage to change it?
Is this a artifact of the Siteminder/Advanced Security?

Thanks for very fast help!
Thomas
