Hi all,

A while back we developed a CMS on top of Spectra that uses Spectra widgets
but has a complete rewrite of the SLM. It uses the concept of one
template=>multiple page records. It allows you to add/move sections/pages,
set multilingual titles, caching, search engine metadata etc. In addition,
we have created an advanced multilingual form generator with support for
WYSIWYG, lookup, tree/metadata widgets, etc based on a form configuration as
opposed to a form creation concept.

Basically, it allows for a more efficient and powerful GUI, faster
development and more efficient resource use while still allowing the use of
the "classic" Spectra tools (with the exception of the SLM).

Obviously, it is dead in the water although our own PublishHQ Content
Management System uses some of the same elements. I'm considering donating
it to the community. However, I would like to see Spectra become open source
first. Any word on that?

Vriendelijke groet,

Marc Schipperheyn
