I have written some custom tags that work with 1.5.1 containers.
They should work with 1.5.2 as well. I have two low level tags that add and
delete objects from a container. Then I have some tags that do various
things by calling these low level tags.
I wrote these as part of a solution where my customer can create their own
publishing rules with a GUI interface. My custom tags do all the work for
them. Allaire were interested in adding them to a future version of Spectra
before the development ended.
I'll try and get the latest version of these tags and publish them for all
Spectra developers. If it takes me a while to get around to doing that -
just keep reminding me - I listen to this list.
Cheers,
Dave Crosby.

Any tips on how to manage container contents outside of the webtop?
I just want an editor to be able to manage a container of basic schedule
rule news items -- assign objects to appear/disappear on certain dates,
change the order of objects, etc.
I don't see any API tags for it. I tried a couple of tags from the DevEx and
they didn't work -- too old for 1.5.2 maybe.
