This website is yet another attempt at approaching what John von
Neumann referred to in proposing the following:
"The security, or efficiency, of a system is not so much determined
by the elements it is built from as by the manner in which it has
been organised into a system: by the quality and quantity of
information transmitted between the elements."

you can see a nice documentation by Artpool at the exhibition
Interrupted Histories / Historiae interruptae
The exhibition, among others, deals with spaces of interrupted
collective histories
and with spaces of "little histories"of the 70s and 80s of the
Eastern Bloc Countries.
In this period in particular neo-avant-garde artists were most often
their own historians and archivists
