IRATIONAL ACTION WEEKEND
September 15-17, 2006 in Dortmund/Germany, various venues
DIY - Do it yourself - is the central theme of
the irational Action Weekend and you are
cordially invited to participate!
On Friday night, Sep 15, Daniel G. Andújar
(Valencia) invites you to present the Open Source
software you like most, and to share it with
others. This will be accompanied by an open bbq -
please bring your own grill-food and drinks!
During the "Tour de Fence" by Kayle Brandon and
Heath Bunting (Bristol) on Saturday one can learn
how to climb walls and fences and thus hack urban
space. This scope is also addressed by the
"International Tree Climbing Day" taking place on
Sunday which will also be lead by Brandon and
Bunting. Its motto is Liberate the Horizontal! -
Integrate the Vertical Super Surface!" Natural
Reality Superweed" gets planted in an appropriate
Superweed Garden in front of the PHOENIX Halle.
The genetically mutated superweed is resistant
against Monsanto's roundup herbicides. Rachel
Baker presents Towards Death", a creative
aerobic video with Cindy Crawford and music by
Antifamily. The Mexico-based Mejor Vida
Corporation issues Student ID cards on request
which anybody can apply for in the exhibition
"The Wonderful World of irational.org". On
Sunday, the Mexican artist Minerva Cuevas (Mexico
City) presents the actions by Mejor Vida
Corporation in a lecture.
The program will be accompanied by guided tours
(in German) through the exhibition The Wonderful
World of irrational.org" at PHOENIX Halle and a
fabulous 10-years HMKV birthday party with the
Irational Soundsystem (Valencia, Bristol, London,
Mexico City), the HMKV Soundsystem (Dortmund) and
Dortmund-based DJ Carstem Helmich (taxi nights).

IRATIONAL ACTION WEEKEND
15.-17. September 2006 in Dortmund, verschiedene Orte
DIY - Do it yourself - ist das zentrale Thema des
Irational Action Weekends, zu dem wir Sie/Euch
herzlich einladen moechten!
Daniel G. Andújar (Valencia) ruft am Freitag
abend (15.9.) dazu auf, eigene
Lieblings-Open-Source-Software mitzubringen und
vorzustellen. Dazu wird zuenftig gegrillt - bitte
Grillgut und Getraenke mitbringen! Im Rahmen der
Tour de Fence" am Samstag instruieren Kayle
Brandon und Heath Bunting (Bristol) die
TeilnehmerInnen im Ueberwinden von Absperrungen
und Zaeunen und lassen sie so zu Hackern des
urbanen Raums werden. Um diese
Handlungsspielraeume geht es auch beim
International Tree Climbing Day", der am Sonntag
von Brandon and Bunting durchgefuehrt wird. Das
Motto lautet Liberate the Horizontal! -
Integrate the Vertical Super Surface!" Vor der
PHOENIX Halle wird am Samstag ein genmutiertes
Superunkraut im neu angelegten "Superweed Garden"
ausgesaet, welches gegen das
Unkrautvernichtungsmittel Roundup von Monsanto
resistent ist. Rachel Baker praesentiert "Towards
Death", ein kreatives Aerobic-Video mit Cindy
Crawford und Musik von Antifamily. Die
mexikanische Mejor Vida Corporation stellt auf
Wunsch Studentenausweise aus, die in der
Ausstellung "The Wonderful World of
irational.org" beantragt werden koennen. Die
mexikanische Kuenstlerin Minerva Cuevas (Mexico
City) stellt am Sonntag die Aktionen der Mejor
Vida Corporation in einem Vortrag vor.
Abgerundet wird das Programm durch Fuehrungen
durch die Ausstellung "The Wonderful World of
irational.org" in der PHOENIX Halle und eine
grosse 10-Jahre HMKV Geburtstagsparty mit dem
Irational Soundsystem, dem HMKV Soundsystem und
DJ Carsten Helmich (taxi nights).
