For the first time in its history, Radio B92 is the most listened-to
broadcaster in Serbia
Belgrade, June 14, 2007 According to the results of radio audience
measurement, conducted in mid-May, which particularly focused on radio
shows listenership on the territories of three biggest cities in
Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis), Radio B92 is the most listened-to
radio broadcaster in Serbia.
For the first time, Radio B92 scored better results than Radio
Belgrade One at the national level.
When compared to the autumn survey, conducted in November 2006, Radio
B92 has increased its audience by additional 70,000 listeners, thus
overcoming the Channel One of the national public service radio
broadcaster and leaving far behind its commercial rival Radio S with
100,000 listeners less than Radio B92.
Competitive edge of Radio B92 over its rivals is even more conspicuous
in Belgrade. It is by far the most listened-to radio station in the
capital as one third of Belgraders listen to Radio B92.
The survey shows that radio listeners in Serbia describe B92 as the
most modern radio station with innovative approach to its programming,
but also as the station with good presenters, good journalists and
good reporting from a variety of locations in the country.
Radio B92 has been designated as the radio broadcaster with the most
up-to-date news, and the programme itself has been described by
listeners as highly reliable and unbiased.
Radio B92s news and entertainment shows rank among the most popular
radio programmes in Serbia.
Finally, the listeners have selected Radio B92 as their favourite
radio station in Serbia.
