Dear all, I would like to invite you to my upcoming solo concert at November 24th, 2012 at Espai Niu at Barcelona:
Lasting (this is how it is, but there might be something else) The concert is based on the sound material of a Live-Radio-Play Performance that was created around the Novel by Paul Auster The Country Of last Things that initially was developed earlier this year together with the actress Miriam Jansen at Berlin. In this concert Jan Mech plays a real-time composition that uses the sound material of the original performance and condenses it to a musical score using a variety of electronic and acoustic interfaces, instruments and objects. The length can vary between 30 and 45 minutes.
